Richard Chai is one of six American designers that GQ Magazine feels that we should have a look out for. He started his company in 2004 starting with women's wear and continuing with a men's wear line in 2008. Richard Chai himself says that he has grunge as source of inspiration and when you look at the collection for spring/summer 2011 it feels like a grunge person and a preppy person collided and merged into a new form of its own.
When you look at the pictures you can see that he has chosen really skinny models. I could only get that thin if I had one foot in the grave.
Not going to happen.
