In the last season of Sex and the City (or at least I think it was the last season) Oscar de la Renta got some huge PR when Carrie got the pink dress with the black belt from her Russian lover. Oscar is famous all over the world and perhaps he rests on his laurels. When you look at the collection for spring/summer 2011 you see pieces that are classical, but not exactly fashion forward because we have seen it before.
