I don't know exactly why but I started to think of Donna karan when I saw pictures of Victoria Beckham's collection for fall 2012. I think that Victoria Beckham has produced very good pieces in the past but this I think is a bit bland. I don't say that the collection is bad but I don't keel over of sheer happiness either. There is no wow factor, not according to me at least. Even so I'm fully aware that the stuff will sell like hot cakes because if there is something that Victoria Beckham and her hubbie, David, are good at is clever branding. They have succeeded like very few to create strong brands of themselves which spill over to everything they put their hands on. All the more power to them.
