Bradley Cooper and People Magazine

Every year People Magazine choose who they consider to be the sexiest. This year they awarded the first place to American actor, Bradley Cooper.

Not a bad choice, if you ask me.

Not a bad choice at all.

Hippies

Originally Hippie was a youth movement that started in the US in the mid 1960s with its centre in San Francisco. I knew there was a reason why I love that city. The hippies were a evolvement from the Beatniks and they also created their own communities, listening to psychodelic rock, living according the practices of free love and using drugs like LSD and cannabis.

The most famous events of this movement are the Summer of Love on the west coast of the US and the Woodstock Festival in 1969 on the east coast. The hippie movement was not only in the US but also in Australia, the UK and the rest of the western world.

Today we have, even if we don't think of it that way, things and movements in our society that derive from the hippies. These are cultural things like music festivals and health food but also sexual progression and believe it or not the cyberspace revolution.

When it comes to style and fashion the clothes they wore were floral and muliticoloured with intricate patterns. Can you become anything but happy when you look at these pictures. The hippies were closer to nature than we are today and they celebrated life and love. Not a bad legacy.

We could probably use a bit more hippie in our lives - hippie de luxe ....

RED!!!

Chado Ralph Rucci

All my life I have been a lover of blue and I still am. But the last year I have grown more and more to like RED. It is the colour that is said to attract the most attention and I suppose it suits my personality at the moment because I relish the attention, so bring it on. Who could not love such a happy colour as red, and apparently lots of designers have it in their fall collection this season as you can see from the pictures. And we are closing up to Christmas, where the ultimate holiday colour is red, at least if you are Scandinavian. Go out there and get yourself a red infusion in your wardrobe.

Stuff from Gucci

Gucci is one of the experts of dishing out goods for the people with too much time and too much money. How about a new watch?

A case for your iphone.

Or perhaps a pair of sunglasses?

Or something to put your ipad in?

Plenty of more or less unnecessary stuff for an arm and a leg. Wanna play the game or not?

Going Gaga over Bags

For some reason I'm going gaga over bags at the moment. Don't know why but I have some sort addiction disorder. One day it might be chocolate and today it is apparently bags. I'm always addicted. It's just the item (or person) in question that changes. These two bags are from Tiger of Sweden. I would like to have both. Heaven help us!

Milla Jovovich and Resident Evil

Milla Jovovich is a true beauty. Born in Ukraine and started modelling at an early age. She has graced every mentionable cover and is still at it being one of the faces for L'oreal. She has also been in film like Joan of Arc and The Fifth Element. She is most famous for the Resident Evil series. I have had a bit of a cold today so I have seen all of them, and all of them for the first time. The only thing I find amusing is the references to other noted films. Otherwise Resident Evil gives bad an entirely new meaning and the acting skills required are zero.
