Tiger of Sweden

Two examples of jackets from the spring collection of the brand Tiger of Sweden. I like the grey one for it's simplicity and it would go well with some wine red trosuers that i plan to buy. A bargain or an offence (depending on what you think) for £300.

I have been a total sucker for shades of purple for a while now. I like this jacket but there is one thing that sets me off. It's prized at £500 and has no proper lining. In my book, that doesn't fly.

Tiger of Sweden

Got a reminder from Swedish company Tiger of Sweden about a graphic jacket they have in their current collection. It is eye catching and if I had been twenty I had been at like a shot. Sadly I'm not twenty any more and the interest for this piece is low.

Going Gaga over Bags

For some reason I'm going gaga over bags at the moment. Don't know why but I have some sort addiction disorder. One day it might be chocolate and today it is apparently bags. I'm always addicted. It's just the item (or person) in question that changes. These two bags are from Tiger of Sweden. I would like to have both. Heaven help us!

Tiger of Sweden, Fall 2011

Here are two pieces from Tiger of Sweden that can be found in shops at the moment. I like the colour and the pattern. They are made of 100 % wool and show proof of good tailoring. If you are going splash out about £300 on jacket it needs to be nicely tailored. If you want to add the pants that will be an extra £150. Personally I think that both jacket and trousers in this particular pattern will be a bit too much. I suppose it depends on the occasion you are going to wear it but if you are not impersonating the chair man of a British book club you can give this a miss. I would suggest you buy the jacket and mix it with a pair of chinos, either red or of a clear blue colour. No matter if you go with red or blue chinos combine with a light, light blue shirt, preferably from Eton Shirts, and finish the whole thing of with dark blue loafers.

Tiger of Sweden

I'm a bit worn out today. At a moment like this few things can give a spark of energy like looking at clothes. I found three things of Tiger of Swedens new arrivals that I liked. A jacket that would be perfect for cooler summer evenings at the sum of 250£. Then a blue cable knit sweater. The warmth of a Swedish summer is never reliable. On the other hand I'm not spending the summer in Sweden. Nevertheless the sweater can be yours for 150£. Last but not least a black bag for 350£ to finish the deal off.

Tiger of Sweden

Photo from Tiger of Sweden's webpage

Tiger of Sweden is a brand where I have for the most of times felt that you can shop 'til you drop, but I am a bit disappointed this season. Many grey tones and it felt a bit dull, which is perhaps strange coming from me who wears a lot of grey. I liked this suit though which can be yours for approximately £500. A comeback for the double breasted suit has been long overdue but I think that I would have preferred five buttons instead of three. But I suppose it looks newer this way and more youthful, and that is the target group the company is aiming for.
