The top drawing is from a project at The London College of Fashion. I don't remember what the the theme of the project was. I do remember that it was in the autumn, the second year of my education and that I lived on Hambalt Road in the south of London. Well, whatever, after I had sewn the waistcoat and a pair of trousers the college used the waistcoat. They used it together with some trousers a friend of mine, Laura, made for promotional pictures for the fashion courses. The waistcoat was meant for men but I didn't care that they had put it on a woman.
A piece of my clothing was in big pictures in the hallways of the college. That was all that mattered ...
