Beard or no Beard
Alexander McQueen

It was a huge loss for the fashion world when Alexander McQueen died. He was sheer genius. It is going to be interesting to see what is going to happen with the brand in the future. I sincerely hope that they will manage the legacy and continue to design and make up creations that resembles what Alxander McQueen put on the table. It's not going to be easy. He played in a league all of his own. It's always hard when the person behind the name for some reason leaves the scene so to speak. The public and the media have grown accustomed to a certain way of having things done. Some labels don't survive the transition. I would really like the label Alexander McQueen to keep on going because I think the world would be duller without it.

The Journalist
He was surprised that it only took a white singlet and a grumpy face to end up on a fashion blog. Just deliberatly forgetting that he supplied me with the theme of that particular posting, the hoofboots. Well, that gave me the idea to say a few words about his style. I consider him to be a regular jeans and t-shirt guy. Nothing spectacular. He could actually use the colour red more. It suits him. He looks just as good in a jacket and a tie, but understandably used for more formal occasions.I like this picture that I took of him two years ago. I think his face shows a feeling of serenity. Must have been me.

Kate Spade
Kate Spade, the American designer makes colourful clothes to say the least. I would like to call the happy clothes. Personally I get happy looking at them. They are fun and the world can sure use a splash of colour.

Starsky and Hutch
From 1975 to 1979 the series Starsky and Hutch was aired in the US on ABC. It started with a 90 minute pilot and ninetytwo 60 minute episodes were shown before the two cops were set out to green pasture. Starsky and Hutch, played by Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul, were about two cops operating in Southern California, different in character but complementing each other. I'm a bit too young to remember when it was first aired. Imagine that!! Thank God for reruns! I love Starsky and Hutch. Cool seventies clothes and cool cars like a Ford Gran Torino.

Alexander McQueen
The label for Alexander McQueen makes some really cool and desirable stuff. How about a tie with skulls on it for £95. Or why not a coin chain wallet for £330. I like it and I very rarely carry coins around. I buy with plastic.
Perhaps a call to my therapist wouldn't be too bad, to get my priorities in perspective ...//P.
nelly.com
In my neck of the woods we have the heart of Swedish mailorder business. It used to be only catalogues but now they have gone digital. The new companies start of as digital and one example is nelly. It is a successful business that keep on growing. It started on a small scale and now they have taken hold of the Scandinavian and German market. If you don't get the lingo you can use Google Translate. They have nice clothes and I'm sure you can find something to satisfy your need for clothes.
I'm continuing my crusade for pink with this Sweater from Swedish Ljung. They call it raspberry. I mean, same shit but a different bag.
I'm in desperate need for more jeans, believe it or not. These from Jack & Jones fits the bill, at least for me.
This shirt from Humör (Swedish for mood, but Danish company) I think is cool. Should guarantee some atention grabbing moments.
I really like this sweater from Hummel. Either it is that I like the combination of red and blue or because of what the sweater is wrapped around. Hmmm ....
