Christmas Wishes

I have been in England for about a week and that is why I have been silent. I was far too busy to write. Busy with some serious window shopping for instance. Christmas is around the corner and of course there are things we wish for, material things no matter what we feel about the growing consumerism of the world.

The silver skull from Hancocks in Burlington Arcade is something for me.

The purple briefcase with matching wallet from Zilli on Bond Street I would consider a real treat.

Since I'm a real lover of blue this ensemble from Missoni is a winner.

This bag from Hugo Boss is just yummy.

And a pair of nice shoes from Russell & Bromley.

So now you know. Go forth and shop!!

Russell & Bromley

Russell & Bromley was founded in 1873 when George Fredrick Bromley started his career as a travelling shoe maker for Albion Russell. The company is today run by the Russell family and the head office is situated in Kent. The company has 43 shops around the UK and they sell an array of brands of shoes with DKNY as an example.
The shops are nice and they have a good selection of shoes. You can always find something you like. Joanna worked at Russell & Bromley during our hey days in London (if I remember correctly). The work uniform was a catastrophy. A long, grey skirt and a grey cardigan and it made her look like fortyfive instead of twenty as she was.
Russell & Bromley is a good shop but their webpage leaves alot to desire.
